Rowdy Love
Danyel Alana’s music career has spanned over three decades, where she has evolved into one of Hawaii’s most respected and diverse singer/songwriter/guitarist. Whether she’s solo with just her guitar or fronting her power trio, her unbridled guitar playing style and powerful vocals fuel the passion in her versatile, dynamic and high-energy performances. You may have seen Danyel light up the stage at Vince Esquireʻs Rock + Blues Fest so you know you're in-store for a lively music experience.
"Soul Love" is set to be released in-full on March 21st, 2023 and was produced by Vince Esquire and Uncle Don Lopez on Luktown Records. According to Uncle Don, he had "the humbling honor and unique pleasure of playing bass for Uncle Willie K for 28 years and he was superhuman. Able to crush any genre with authenticity and an uncanny ability to mimic almost anyone's voice and style. I have also had the humbling and unique pleasure to play with Danyel for nearly 15 years. Danyel's music, while as unique to her as Willie's was to him, reminds me of that amazing width of musical interest and ability to just shred in that genre, either in voice or on electric and acoustic guitars."
